| Slow Joey started in 2002 - The name came from a contest for people to name the band. The guy who named the band Slow Joey - Comes from the fact that everyone he had ever met named Joey is well, a tad slow. Think about it. Scary isn't it? If your name is Joey- our apologies- we`re sure your a great fella - but end it there! Do not name your kids Joey. The band is gigging strong - hitting there 100 show mark next month. Come on out and see them some time- you will be sure to enjoy the tunes, have a drink and dance it up. -Cheers |
