| Biography |
| Concepted as a early three piece in 2000 called Stroke Motors. In the summer of 2000 Erik(bass) joined. The group then unfortunatly lost their first drummer in a horrible chocolate bar accident. By fall of 2000 the three boys Brohan(guitar/vocals0 Phil(lead guitar/vocals) and Erik (bass) recruited Bruce(drums). The band frequently changed their name from Stoke Motors to APL to The Pretty Young Things, and in recruiting new lead vocalist Nick(lead vocals/guitar) changed their name to Uprising. The boys have played free shows at Bluefield High and Cornwall Cornfest while recording self produced demos. The band has recently been signed to Pre-Team records and will be recording a new album by the spring |
