Great Big Sea Ticket Contest

Great Big Sea KickInTheHead.com is pleased to present a fantastic contest for a great cause. By answering 20 quiz questions correctly, Great Big Sea fans will have an opportunity to see the band in a small, intimate venue and help out the Redwood Shelter, a foundation dedicated to helping abused women and children.

The MIX 99.9, a Toronto radio station, will be presenting a Great Big Sea benefit concert at Toronto's Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on Saturday, March 11th. Tickets are priced at $19.99. All proceeds will be going to the Redwood Shelter.

The official capacity of the 'shoe is just 425 people. Tickets will be publicly available at the club when the doors open @ 8:30 PM, but demand is going to be high. The only way to guarantee you and a friend admission to this intimate show is to get on the list. And to do that, you have to be one of the 5 greatest GBS fans.

Our researchers spent hours combing through GreatBigSea.com to come up with a selection of challenging quiz questions. If you're a big fan or willing to spend some time surfing their site, and you get the answers right, then you'll be eligible to win a guaranteed pair of tickets. Make sure you read the fine print before you enter. Good luck.

Contest Results

March 11 @ 12:45 PM ESTKickInTheHead.com thanx everyone who participated for making this contest such a great success. Of the 213 Great Big Sea fans who entered, a whopping 27 answered all 20 questions perfectly. Regardless of whether they knew the answers or had to search for them, it is inspiring to see so much love and dedication for one of Canada's favourite east coast bands.

The winners have now been notified of their status. If you didn't win, we recommend getting down to the Horseshoe ASAP as tickets will be first come, first served. The answers to all the questions are below.
