While the band has been together only a short time,three of its members, Pat Deighan,Craig MacPherson and Mike MacDouglall were founding members of another band from Charlottetown called Strawberry. That group played shows with bands like The Doughboys,Elevator To Hell, Eric's Trip, Superfriendz, Jale, Plumtree, Rebecca West,The Ghandharvas and Blonde Redhead from New York.

Dan Currie has played with various groups & cover bands before hooking up with Eyes. His guitar playing,vocals and song writing abilities provide the band with a whole other dimension to their unique sound. The newcomer in this blend of different experiences and influences is vocalist Belinda Doyle.Lead vocals, singing harmony or alternating lead vocals with Pat or Craig are all handled with style and enthusiasm.

The Maritimes can expect to see & hear the group at venues throughout the region this summer as they promote their cd and make new friends.To date, eyes have had multiple Halifax dates playing at the Marquee and the Attic on more than one occasion.June 2001 sees the band in Moncton at 53rd & Third and 2 nights in Fredericton NB.Additional Halifax gigs are in the works.The band continues to play at their favorite local clubs throughout the summer.The rest of the country will get to experience the Eyes magic later this year.
