Travis Pankiw (vocals/guitar) provides the spark as Dale Ehman (bass/vocals), Dan Burritt (drums/vocals) and Dan Orydzuk (guitar/vocals) pour on the fuel. It is a high energy, fast paced show that never lets up as it invites listeners to participate as they fan the flames. Stoked always gets the room rocking and nobody leaves disappointed. Newly renamed, Stoked began it's humble journey almost 3 years ago as Tightrope, a Rock/Blues power trio comprising Dale and the Dans. Frustrated with alternating between various 4th members to perform gigs the three began a search for a permanent fourth that resulted in the addition of Travis who rounded the lineup and added more pop, new age and alternative rock to the repertoire. With a self produced CD under his belt, Travis provided the main impetus for a collection of original songs that Tightrope had honed and has crafted over the past 2 years. In 2000, the band played over 140 shows in venues all over Southern Alberta / Interior BC and continue to fill rooms wherever they play! For logistical reasons the band chose Stoked as the title of the original music project and continues to craft songs under that name. March of 2001 marked the release of Stoked's first self-written, recorded and produced 4 song EP. Stoked has already sold over 500 copies. You can download the music at www.stokedonline.com.
