* THE OFFICIAL MARATHON TOUR BOOTLEG DVD
With another delay in the long awaited "ALL AREAS" DVD, the band doesn't want to keep the SAGA fan base waiting any longer so they have come up with the a "bootleg" DVD. This DVD Project came together when during a break in touring on the “Marathon Tour”, the band sat down and started to review the untold hours of footage and thousands of photos from the tour. None of this footage or the photos where taken with the intention of a DVD in mind but after seeing just what was there, the possibility was raised of “The Official Bootleg DVD” and then the editing started. On “The Official Bootleg DVD” you will see the band in it’s true live form, in fact there is not one over dub or correction on this project, most of the time during filming the band did not even have the knowledge that the camera’s where rolling until after the show. The "Official Bootleg" DVD can be purchased at the SAGA store.
This DVD has the following features:

• “Rise and Shine” done acoustic at a radio station visit

* THE NEWEST MEMBER OF SAGA...
After a long audition period and with the first days of rehearsals behind them SAGA would like to inform all of you that Christian Simpson will be taking on the drumming duties.
Christian was born in L.A., but has been in Canada since an early age. Christian has been playing for over twenty five years, and in that time he has developed a solid reputation which places him in demand as both a live player and studio musician.
Through out his career Christian has played and recorded with Gold and Platinum recording artists the likes of Moist, David Usher, Edwin, Glueleg, Trevor Hurst (Econoline Crush), Mudmen, Micro Maureen, as well as countless others. Through his work Christian has become a Yamaha Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Vater stick endorsee.
Through out his career Christian has been written up a number of times in many of the music industry magazines such as; DRUM magazine, Drums etc, Canadian Musician to name a few. Christian has built a solid following through his recording and live performances, he has also taken on the task of teaching, which has also helped to solidify his following.
Christian is looking forward to taking on the challenges of Drumming with the guys in the band, which by the way was one of his faves as a young upcoming drummer.
