Genre: funk, groove, and rock Official site: http://www.rfasp.com News & Events: Recipe From A Small Planet will be entering Greenhouse Studio's in Vancouver, B.C. in February 2001 to record their first full-length album although they have enough material to fill three. At the CD release party for the new album, it is planned to debut the album with (at least) a 14-piece band, as well as a crazy light show and other surprises. In hopes that everyone can get in, it has been decided to hold the event at MacEwan Hall Ballroom on the U of C campus in Calgary. The tentative date for this show is April 20th. They will be doing several other "release" parties, including shows in Banff, Golden, Canmore and Edmonton.

| Together for three years, this energetic group of four from Calgary, Alberta continue to perfect their craft through writing an array of melodic, groovin' and soulful tunes. Out of 360 bands, Recipe From A Small Planet won CBC Radio's Performance 2000 competition. They have been doing extensive touring since february 2000 totaling over 175 shows. |
