| For 10 years now, Pigeon-Hole, fronted by the anti-diva pipes of Isabelle Fahmy and Natasha Szuber, have combined their vocal milky ways & 12-string brass knuckling with the funkyfolksmanship of upright electric bassist Adam Blinick and drum beat farmer Wade Manricks. Think indigo-type girls smokin the funk plant . . .
Their 1998 debut album, Natural Descent sold nearly 1000 copies to date. Their latest release, Versus Gravity, borrows the talents of Bob Egan (Wilco, Blue Rodeo) and Don Hachey (the Tea Party), and is swiftly approaching Balsam status (a clever and completely invented sales mark of 1000 units).
