| Paradigm Shift started with three members in December of 1998, with Darryl, Dave M, and Bryan. They mainly started with covers. As soon as Paradigm Shift got together they started on "Strange World". The band never did anything but writing and writing and more writing. In August of 1999 Dave Stoten was asked to be in the band. When the band all got together they knew it was the right choice picking Dave. As a band they put their heads together, they came up with music that even suprised themselves. On May 5, 2000 Paradigm Shift played their first show at the J Percy Page B.O.B. Being the band's first show they placed Second behind MI5, this being the over all best showed they've played so far. Over the past while, they've also played with A.W.O.L, and smoking monkey at Hazeldean community hall, and the last show being on December 1st at McNally High School B.O.B where they placed third, due to obsene comments made when they first came on stage. Paradigm Shift has been taking a slight break for about 2 months, they've recently started practicing again.
