| Biography |
 | Formed in 1994 in Winnipeg, the Orchid Highway lived and gigged for two years in London, England. They released their debut CD "Fourplay" upon returning to Canada and are now based in Vancouver, BC.
The Orchids have embarked on several independent national tours and were nominated for Indie Recording of the Year by COCA in 1999. They have also been showcased at seven festivals, the latest being Canadian Music Week 2000.
Orchid Highway gigs are renowned for their sitar interludes, the Audience Participation Pyrotechnic Event (aka sparklers), and the number of converts (aka fans) left humming their tunes in the shower after every show.
Future plans include recording a full-length album, releasing new videos, website specials, and fame! |
