| When it comes to energy, the sky is the limit! You can always see them launching into dimensions beyond the typical rock and roll confines. Starting in 1997 as the house band at Steamers in Victoria, Lift has built a loyal following that guarantees them a packed house at any local venue and a strong draw anywhere in the Western and Central provinces of Canada. Over the past two summers, the boys have toured and thrown crowds into fits of boogie at every show including unforgettable headlining spots at the Ness Creek Music Festival, Big River, SK, the Kispiox Music Festival, Kispiox, BC and Jazz in the Park, Vernon, BC. Some of Lifts favorite shows have been benefits for Free Tibet, Earth Day and Easter Seals Camp Shawnigan.
The groove of these four songwriters is funkalicious. If theyve learned anything in three years its that hard work results in tight harmonies and unrestrained solid performances. Their Jams are a stew of energy extending from their diverse influences. Singing their own individual original songs and a broad spectrum of covers from Freddy King,The Grateful Dead and The Muppets, Lift produces magic catering to your senses and sense of adventure. |
