J O E L K R O E K E R is an Alt.Folk Singer/Songwriter/Multi-Instrumentalist who combines political and personal insight with virtuosic vocal fireworks and high velocity fingerstyle guitar work. His recent awards and accolades include:

The Joel Kroeker Collective have recently shared the stage with The Cowboy Junkies, Andy Stochansky, Linda MaCrae (Spirit of the West) and Kinnie Starr receiving rave reviews and comments from industry professionals such as Larry LeBlanc (Billboard Magazine) and Michael Roth (A&R Sony).
JoelÂ’s debut CD entitled "Naive Bohemian" hit number 7 on the Canadian National Campus Radio Specialty Charts and is distributed nationally by Spirit River Distribution. Joel recently inked a publishing deal with Brycemoor Music and has just returned from a 5000 km Western Canadian Tour to promote the album.
Joel holds a Masters Degree in Ethnomusicology and Popular Music Studies and a Bachelor of Music in Composition and Guitar Performance and his jazz, classical, and electroacoustic works have been performed across Canada.
