| 'THE EMPEROR'S MAIN COARSE IN CANTONESE'
The Kid returns, fingers flickering, wrists wicky-wickering - the very last emperor of the golden age of deck-based frippery placed now in an era of technique-over-content and crap hip hop bluster over doing DAT thing. An EP of such blustery, tangential silliness is itself a beautiful thing to behold. But throw in the Koala's obsessions with urban angst, Peter O'Toole's mate with the glasses, marsupials and, of course, the ones and the twos, and you end up with a subtle miniature epic of alienation, love, madness, despair and ...oh, alright: turntables.
