| Inland are going to grab you by the scruff of the neck and make you like it. Or, at least that1s how it seems when you see the boys live. With a mix of old school guitar rock, blues, funk and a little pop sensibility, Inland have quickly created a loyal following in their native Halifax. They have held their own by opening for bands like Big Sugar, The New Meanies, The Mahones, and The Watchmen while building a reputation for a wall of sound and an ass-shakin1 good time. Inland is Joel Evans on guitar ( Soul Man ), Sean Scanlan (an accomplished funny man) on bass and Nick Wombolt (just some guy) on drums. They recently released their debut CD "The Jigs Up" which has garnered rave reviews in print, and support from local and national radio stations. Track 3, "Holdin On To Me", has made Inland Canadian Music Week national song writing contest finalists. The title track "The Jigs Up" is featured on a Kokanee beer compilation CD. A video, tour, and live on line performance are to follow in the near future for Inland. A busy web site features pictures, biography, tour dates, and mp3's from the CD.
