| Biography |
| General Rudie started back in February of 1997 and since then have had the opportunity to play with some of the biggest names in ska today. These bands include the New York Ska -Jazz Ensemble, the Articles, the Slackers, Reel Big Fish and the Planet Smashers. General Rudie have also had the honour of playing with the legendary Skatalites, the originators of ska music. In their home town of Montreal, they have played at venues such as the Cabaret, Le Swimming, Club soda, The Spectrum and The Medley on several occasions. After being well establsihed in Montreal and Toronto, General Rudie undertook two tours in 2002. One brought them across Canada and the other was a huge 7 week tour which brought them across Canada and the United-States. |
