| Excess For All hails from lush Vancouver, Canada, where brothers Seth Longworth (vocals) and Adam Longworth (keyboards) first began playing together in 1998. There's no lack of creativity or inspired performance as they turn their equipment into tools for art. An electro-synth-rock duo, they mix predictable hooks of pop music with their own signature soundscapes populated by moody and down-to-earth lyrics. With influences culled from the synth-rock 80's their music is sometimes reminiscent of keyboard pumping Gary Numan, the groundbreaking Depeche Mode and Nick Kershaw. They have created a sound with a solid and soulful beat that's ready to break through to mainstream audiences with everything a musical performance is meant to be. Seth's rich and magnetic voice allows sticky melodies to blend seamlessly into Adam's huge organic synth programming. Their sound masterfully pulls deep grooves from a technologically-driven genre that is equally at home in clubs or in concert halls. Moving and sometimes sardonic lyrics sweep the listener along while allowing them to develop their own meaningful conclusions. |
