| Devolver began in 1996 in vancouver B.C. where their debut CD called "Grand Strom Matinee" was released on Transsiberian Music Co. (Distributed in Canada by Scratch, and in the U.S by Manifold & Parasol) Shortly after, the band relocated to Montreal and continued to record for Transsiberian releasing the 2nd full length CD in 98 called "Affecting Automobile Backbone Cunning" By Spring 1999 Devolver completed the recording of their third release called "Left Orbit & Temple" which was officially released late that Fall and saw them moving more towards a more traditional pop aesthetic.
Still in Montreal, Devolver have completed their 4th release for Transsiberian to be called "The Pilot's inside his mind" returning to the more "drugged out" aesthetic of "Affecting Automobile..." |
