Biography
	Formed in 1990, Coal made their debut at the famed Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Zulu Records released the self-titled CD and cassette, with a video of the track "No Angel" airing on CMT, MuchMusic and Bravo. The song was also included on the soundtrack to the MGM/Green Tea film "Headless Body in Topless Bar". The band's latest CD "One Track Mind" has been reviewed as: "one of the best Canadian releases of '98" and also done was a video of the track "Invisible Man". Coal has performed at Musicwest, NXNE, the Northwest Music Conference, SXSW and the CMJ Music Marathon in New York.Coal recently released their 3rd Cd "Beautiful Afterburn" to international acclaim. Coal are working on new material and also gettin set to relase a "Best Of Coal"CD by the end of 2003.Order one today! Coal is currently on hiatus(June 2005)
