Cinnamon formed in January 1993 as a four Piece Super Guitar Indie Pop Band from Vancouver, BC, Canada. They are currently working on the follow-up to Their tuneful, and sonically sparse debut album "CREAM SODA"(currently available on N.U/Fre). This latest effort is more "Pet Sounds", "Revolver", "Neurotica", "Abbey Road"...more experimental...yet refreshingly poppy everytime... Cinnamon have contributed, music for the Canadian Television Drama "Madison". Their first single, "Super Hi-fi Love Song", was chosen by fans at a pick-the-single party which aired in November 1996, on Much Music. The video for "Super Hi-Fi Love Song", was been featured on "The Wedge" numerous times, as well as RSVP, and regular airplay. Right now, Cinnamon have signed with Icebreaker Productions, and are expecting...Spring, 1998 The band taped a segment for MuchWest with Terry David Mulligan, which aired on Sunday August 11th, 1996...Vancouver is "Space Rock City", and Darling Music & New Media are making waves... Get Hip!, watch for Saturnhead & Cinnamon on brand new Darling Music & New Media Soundtracks this Winter!. Cinnamon have been compared to Matthew Sweet, Teenage Fanclub, The Hollies, The Beatles, Kiss, Urge Overkill, Velvet Crush, Sloan, The Posies, and Jeff Macdonald (the lead singer of Redd Kross) was heard saying (at the Commodore ballroom in Vancouver). Cinnamon's our favourite Vancouver band!!" Cinnamon are: Terry Miles (singing/guitar) Tom Williams (lead guitar) Kevin Cooper (bass/back-up singing) Marq Desouza (drums). Cinnamon have shared the stage with: The Posies, Treblecharger, The Pursuit of Happiness, Rhymes with Orange, Furnaceface (tour), Pluto, Sweetwater, and many other fine rock n' roll bands.
