| Biography |
 | Camel Toe was born in the dingy basement of an Ottawa south-end home in 1996. The band matured with regular Monday night gigs at the Downstairs Club. In 1997, Camel Toe released a full-length CD, "Where's Mary" with then singer Peter Clarke. Peter left the band shortly after the release of "Where's Mary", opening the door for bass player Greg Greco to take over singing and rhythm guitar duties. Lead guitarist Paul Dokken, drummer Kevin Smith, and basisst Dave Alburger round out the lineup. Camel Toe spent the majority of 1998 working with an Ottawa-based company called "The Cybershop". The were in the business of web-based entertainment, and Camel Toe performed in several audio and video web broadcasts. Camel Toe were finalists in 1999's "Tech Rocks" competition at the Corel Center. The event saw all finalists in a showdown, followed by Tom Cochrane. Camel Toe has written dozens of new songs since Where's Mary, and plan to release a new CD later this year. The working title of the next disk is "Camel Sutra". Stay tuned for updates! |
