| Biography |
| Belvedere is a 4-piece skate rock band from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They've been around for about 3 years in all their forms but haven't been around Calgary for much of those 3 years. They're never around. Since the start, Belvedere has toured much of Canada and the US. Heading down to California 4 times in the last year as well as covering the Western States and Canada has given them the chance to play with Bad Religion, Strung Out, SNFU, Diesel Boy, Bracket, Good Riddance, 88 Fingers Louie and many others. They've been fortunate enough to accomplish much of what they have set out to do, spreading the good word of WWF, eating as much Taco Bell as possible and getting in several games of ping pong.
With all this touring, how can a band getting anything recorded? Well, they just released their first album "Because No One Stopped Us" on Hourglass Records in Canada and is licensed to 206 Records in the United States. They are featured on several comps including "The 2 Minute Wonder", "Flaming Cow Disease", "The Great Soap Opera", "Punk Rock Volume 1" and "Milk The Cow". More tours are on the go as Belvedere sets out once again to conquer North America in the Spring in their trusted van, "Ben".
Only time will tell how far these lads go and who will be the next World Wrestling Federation Champion. Look for them at a rest stop or Spice Girls gathering near you. |
