| An Acoustic Sin... is a four piece band based out of Memramcook, N.B. The group consists of: Ronnie LeBlanc on Lead Vocals, Richard Bourgeois on Bass Guitar, Daniel Dupuis on Drums and Stephen LeBlanc on Lead Guitar. The current members of the band have only been together since August '96. They released their first full-length CD entitled ...Erase The Sky on November 1, 1996. Their first single Take Me To A Better Day, reached Number 1 on CKUM FM 93.5 in Moncton and has reached the Top Ten at several radio stations in NB and Quebec. Their second single The Appraisal, is currently Number 1 at CFAI in Edmunston, NB, and is climbing the charts at radio stations in NB and Quebec. Their music has been compared to the Doors, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Metallica, REM, Tragically Hip, The Tea Party, and many others. They have been described as "a whale in a can of sardines" - Le Devoir-Sylvain Cormier and "Their music, lyrics, performance are powerful in every way" - ASN's Breakfast TV's Liz Regney. They have received a lot of great press reviews from such publications as Voir Magazine - Montreal, Le Devoir - Montreal, L'Acadie Nouvelle-Caraquet, Atlantic Gig, and Music East, to name a few. |
